Advocacy Assembly is a multilingual e-learning platform for human rights activists, campaigners and journalists. Anyone can join Advocacy Assembly and benefit from our free self-paced e-learning courses.

Our courses are perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about advocacy, journalism, human rights, data science, digital security, internet disruptions and online censorship.

At the top of the homepage navigation, click Courses followed by our All Courses page. You can filter the courses based on the latest published courses and your interests. We’ll notify you of new courses in our newsletter.

Our trainers are industry leaders and experts from some of the world’s top advocacy and human rights organisations, as well as news outlets.

Each online course is offered for free and is made up of a series of chapters and lessons. Lessons can be slides, videos or quizzes. We also provide resources at the bottom of each lesson for further reading, tip sheets and other useful information. To take a course and obtain a certificate, you just need to select a course and select the enrol button after logging in with your username and password. To download a certificate of completion for each course, you must complete the entire course and obtain it at the end. If you haven't joined yet, set up an account for free, verify your email, log in and hit the enrol button for your desired course. Please note only users who sign in with an email and password can access the entire course material.

If you'd like to unsubscribe from our newsletter, simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email you received. You can also update your email notification settings in your account settings.

Once you’ve found the course you want to take and are logged in, click the enrol button. That’s it!
