Welcome to the Advocacy Assembly multilingual training platform for human rights activists, campaigners, and journalists. If you are new to Advocacy Assembly, you may be unsure of how to sign up to the platform, enrol in a course, or download your certificate. Here is an explanatory blog showing you how to do this.
How to sign up for Advocacy Assembly
To sign up to the platform, the first thing you need to do is go to the signup page and click register.
If you want to register in English or another language - click on the correct language you want to learn in.
Select your language. This will determine what language you receive the newsletter in if you choose to subscribe. Our newsletter is sent out about four times a year.
Note: You can unsubscribe for the newsletter in the dashboard - log in to the site and click on your username to access the dashboard.
Remember, whatever name you register with is what will appear on the certificate for each course. If you want to change your name on your certificate, email us at [email protected].
How to enrol in a course
We are a self-paced learning platform. That means you can enrol at any time to take courses for free. You don't need to apply for a course. We want as many people to access this information as possible.
After you register to the platform and confirm your email address (check your spam), go to the course you want to enrol in.
Note: If you don't click on the email verification, you won't be able to take the entire course - you have 24 hours to verify your email. If you missed this and the email verification has expired, email us at [email protected]
Click enrol on the top right hand corner. If you don’t click enrol, you won’t register for the course and you won't move past the first video.
Remember to watch all of the videos in full. If you skip a video, it won’t allow you to gain a certificate.
How to download your certificate
Where can you find your certificate? Click on your name on the right-hand side. This will take you to the dashboard. Here you can see all of the courses you are in the process of taking or have completed.
Do you still have questions with enrolment or have trouble with your certificate? Watch the video below or email us at [email protected] and we will help you enrol or get your certificate.
