Happy Norouz!
To celebrate the Persian New Year and welcome the Spring season, we thought it would be a good moment to reflect on some of what Advocacy Assembly has accomplished during this eventful but difficult year.
One of the biggest highlights for this year involved launching Advocacy Assembly in Spanish. So far we have had the pleasure of translating seven courses for our Espanol audience! We are planning to add more courses in this language on the platform. You can always tweet to us the course if you want to see in Spanish language at @Advocassembly!
We launched two courses with Amnesty International about Open Source Investigation for human rights! These courses by far have the most sign ups on the platform. The two part course contains useful information for investigative journalists, researchers, activists and lawyers! If you have not signed up in these courses, please do so right now!
Advocacy Assembly also released three Radio Zamaneh's courses covering interviewing, archiving and documentation for investigative journalists. These will help you master your research and core journalism skills.
Finally, we published almost 30 blogs on a variety of topics including data, journalism, misinformation and Covid-19. If you have an idea for a blog, don’t hesitate to reach out to us on social media.
For all our Spanish, Farsi and Arabic speakers, we are trying our best to shape this platform in the best way possible. We are always open to new ideas and suggestions from you. You can email us via [email protected]!
